Chris Brown’s Former Housekeeper Seeks Arrest Warrant Over Unpaid $9m Dog-Bite Judgment
Chris Brown’s former housekeeper, Maria Avila, has asked a Los Angeles court to issue an arrest warrant for the singer over an unpaid $9 million judgment linked to a dog attack at his home. Avila alleges that Brown has failed to provide dates for a court-ordered examination of his finances. She also claims he has not produced complete bank records or sufficient information about income from his ongoing tour. A jury initially awarded Avila $13 million over the 2020 incident, when she said a dog attacked her while she was taking out rubbish at Brown’s property. A judge later reduced the amount to $9 million. The court had not ruled on her arrest-warrant request at the time of the report.
