Malcolm-Jamal Warner’s Mother Alleges Widow Cut Off Access to Granddaughter

Pamela Warner, mother of late actor Malcolm-Jamal Warner, has alleged that his widow, Tenisha Warner, ended her relationship with their daughter, MacKenzie, after his death in July 2025. Court filings show the family is also disputing Malcolm-Jamal Warner’s estate and a Los Angeles property. Pamela says the estate could not sustain the home’s estimated monthly costs of about $9,000, while Tenisha maintains that the property was meant for her and MacKenzie. Pamela has asked the court to approve a proposed settlement reached with MacKenzie’s guardian. The wider dispute over the estate, property and family access is still before the court.
