2027: ADC Says Atiku Will Campaign Across All 36 States

The African Democratic Congress Presidential Campaign Council says former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar will campaign in all 36 states ahead of the 2027 presidential election. The council’s Director of Strategic Communication, Phrank Shaibu, said the campaign would go beyond state capitals. He said it would include town hall meetings, community engagements and visits to local government areas and villages. Shaibu said economic hardship cuts across regions and expressed confidence that Atiku would win nationwide. He contrasted the plan with President Bola Tinubu’s reported decision to attend rallies in only 12 states in order to focus on governance and other official responsibilities.
