Former PE Teacher Convicted of Sex Offences Against 16-Year-Old Pupil
A former PE teacher, Bronwen James, has been convicted of three counts of sexual activity with a 16-year-old pupil at Winchester Crown Court. The court heard that she allegedly groomed the student through flirtatious behaviour and private messages before meeting him outside school. Prosecutors said she exploited her position of authority and failed to maintain professional boundaries. James had previously pleaded guilty to several sexual offences involving two other schoolgirls, including sexual communication and making an indecent photograph of a child. She has been remanded in custody and is due back in court for sentencing.
