Chaos at Owo Secretariat: Thugs Strip Ondo LG Chairman Bare

Chaos erupted at the Owo Local Government Secretariat in Ondo State when a group of suspected thugs stormed the complex to block Chairman Tope Omolayo from resuming duties after a six-month suspension. Witnesses say the attackers beat him mercilessly, tore his clothes and left him almost naked. The assailants reportedly fired shots into the air, causing workers and visitors to flee in panic. Security operatives deployed by the state police soon arrived and restored calm to the scene. The Police Public Relations Officer confirmed that investigations are ongoing to identify those involved and bring them to justice. Residents have been urged to remain law-abiding and go about their lawful activities without fear.
