Kwara Police Arrest Four Over Alleged Gun Deal and Human Parts
Kwara State Police Command says it has arrested four suspects in separate cases involving an alleged illegal firearm transaction and suspected human body parts. Police said Joseph Adeoye, 52, was intercepted during surveillance near Ojatuntun Market in Ilorin, where officers allegedly recovered a locally made pistol. Issa Fatai, 35, was later arrested as the alleged intended buyer of the weapon. In a separate operation along Bakase Road in Alapa, police arrested Kamalden Lukmon and AbdulGaniyu Ibrahim after recovering two suspected human hands. The command said preliminary investigations suggest the body parts were allegedly intended for ritual purposes. Investigations are ongoing.
