Fatai Okoya Alleges Shade Okoya Blocked Him From Seeing His Father at Birthday Celebration

Fatai Okoya, the first son of billionaire businessman Razaq Okoya, has spoken about his long-running estrangement from his father. During a livestream, the 66-year-old said he has made repeated efforts over the past 30 years to reconcile with his father. He said he tried reaching him directly and through friends but was often unable to get close to him. Fatai apologised for a disagreement from his youth, which he said involved money he took while being reckless. He also alleged that Shade Okoya stopped him from approaching his father during the elder Okoya’s 86th birthday celebration. Shade Okoya has not publicly responded to the allegation.
