Lawyer to Kalu: Focus on Hunger, Not Igbo Presidency Debate

Peter Agubuzu, a chieftain of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, has criticised Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu over comments on calls for a single-term Igbo presidency. Agubuzu said the debate should not overshadow the hardship facing Nigerians. He argued that leaders should focus on hunger, poverty and the rising cost of living. He added that any discussion about a South-East presidency should be approached through zoning, equity, inclusion and national unity.
