CSOs Urge EFCC to Review Allegations Against Atiku
A coalition of civil society groups has asked the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to review past and fresh allegations involving former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar. The groups said the EFCC should examine materials from an earlier investigation, assess any new petition or evidence, and invite relevant persons for clarification where necessary. They urged the commission to act independently and only prosecute where admissible evidence supports an offence. The coalition also said the EFCC should publicly clarify its findings if the allegations are not substantiated.
