Man Seeks Support to Restore Blind Hauwa’s Sight and Find Another Child in Borno
I met Hauwa while following up on a project in a rural community. She gradually lost her sight after an infection shortly after birth. I am exploring whether medical help can restore her sight. If this effort succeeds, I also hope to search for Abdul, another visually impaired child whose story I shared years ago and who may still be in Borno State. Hauwa and Abdul deserve the chance to experience the world fully. I may not know how this journey will end, but I am willing to try and welcome support from people who care.
