Troops Foil Cattle Rustling, Recover Over 500 Cattle in Kaduna
Troops of Sector 1, Operation Fansan Yamma Joint Task Force North West have foiled a cattle-rustling operation in Rugar Mande Kurmin community, Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State. The operation followed a distress call from residents. Troops reportedly moved to suspected escape routes, set up blocking positions and engaged the rustlers, who fled and abandoned more than 500 cattle. The recovered cattle have been returned to their owners. The Joint Task Force urged residents to keep sharing timely information with security agencies to support efforts against criminal activity in the area.
