Bovi Says Creators Should Focus on Good Work, Not Audience Pressure

Nigerian comedian and actor Bovi Ugboma says he does not create simply to win approval from audiences. Speaking on a podcast, he advised creators to concentrate on making compelling work. According to him, quality content will naturally attract attention, much like sugar draws ants. Bovi said storytelling is vital to stand-up comedy because it keeps people emotionally engaged. He added that when a joke is not funny, the story should at least remain interesting enough to hold the audience’s attention. The comedian also admitted that trying new ideas can be difficult, but said he is learning to embrace growth and make the most of life.
