NNPC Slashes Petrol Price to ₦1,130/L in Lagos and ₦1,165/L in Abuja
The Nigerian National Petroleum Company has cut its pump price to ₦1,130 per litre in Lagos and ₦1,165 per litre in Abuja. This marks a ₦100 and ₦95 reduction from previous rates. Several NNPC stations in Lagos—including Isheri Oshun Road, Apple Junction and Ago Palace Way—now sell at the new price. In the Federal Capital Territory, outlets in Jabi, Lifecamp, Wuse Zone 5 and Wuse Zone 4 have also updated their pumps. The move follows Dangote Refinery’s recent ex-gantry price cut to ₦1,075 per litre, driven by easing global oil prices. Brent crude has tumbled to about $87 per barrel, and diesel gantry rates have fallen by ₦190 to ₦1,430 per litre.
