Sanwo-Olu Appoints Kayode Oyekanmi as Lagos Television General Manager
Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has approved Kayode Oyekanmi as the new General Manager of Lagos Television (LTV). The Head of Service, Bode Agoro, formally presented the appointment letter at a ceremony in Alausa, Ikeja. Oyekanmi succeeds Sola Kosoko and will lead efforts to strengthen the state-owned broadcast station. Agoro praised his vision and extensive experience in both public and private sector communications. With over 30 years in advertising, public relations and global export services, Oyekanmi served as Director of the Strategy Centre at the Lagos State Ministry of Information and Strategy since 2022. He began his public service career in 2000 and holds a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Lagos and a Bachelor’s in English Language and Education from LASU. An indigene of Isale Eko, Lagos Island, he is a member of the Nigeria Union of Journalists and the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations. He is also an avid reader, lawn tennis enthusiast and Charter President of the Lagos State Ministry of Information Toastmasters Club.
