Woman Allegedly Assaulted After Pastor Affair Claim in Benue Viral Video

A woman was reportedly assaulted and publicly confronted after being accused of having an affair with a pastor inside his office in Oju Local Government Area of Benue State. In a viral video, the woman denied the allegation. She said she had gone to the office only to charge her phone. The footage does not show the pastor or establish whether the alleged encounter occurred. The video has sparked criticism over the woman’s reported assault and the apparent absence of similar action against the pastor. Many viewers have also questioned the role of armed police officers and called for a proper investigation rather than public humiliation or violence.
