Nigeria Urges BRICS to Reform Global Finance and Governance
Nigeria has called for reforms to global governance and the international financial system at the BRICS summit in New Delhi. Vice President Kashim Shettima, representing President Bola Tinubu, said existing structures no longer reflect the realities of the Global South. Shettima linked the position to Nigeria’s domestic economic reforms and reaffirmed support for the World Trade Organisation.
