Ndume Urges Tinubu to Remove ‘Kakistocrats’ After Fake Agency Scandal
Senator Ali Ndume has urged President Bola Tinubu to remove what he called “kakistocrats” from his administration, following the discovery of an alleged fake government agency operating within the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation. Speaking on Arise TV, the Borno South senator said incompetent and questionable officials were contributing to controversies and embarrassment for the government. He said the President must act or risk being repeatedly undermined by those around him. Tinubu recently ordered the arrest of Nwabueze George over the alleged operation of the National Brands Development and Made in Nigeria Special Project Office. Three permanent secretaries were also suspended after an ICPC investigation into the alleged fake Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council and related procedural lapses.
