Fayose: ‘Obidients’ Are Obi’s Biggest Hurdle
I saw Isaac Fayose’s tweet from three days ago, and it really hit home. He pointed out that the die-hard Obidients are doing more harm than good to Peter Obi’s campaign. My brother Seyi met Fayose and then caused a stir by saying he’ll vote for Peter while Seyi plans to back his father. The attacks flew from every direction—proof that blind loyalty can shut down honest debate. Obidients have even dragged Atiku to step aside and accused the NDC chairman of plotting against them. It’s this kind of unreasonable harassment that drove Reno Omokri into Tinubu’s camp. Fayose’s message is clear: Obi doesn’t need sycophants. His supporters should build bridges, not burn them, if they truly want his movement to grow.
