2027: Sowore Accuses Peter Obi of Switching Parties for Elections

AAC presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore has criticised the Nigeria Democratic Congress and accused Peter Obi of repeatedly changing political platforms ahead of elections. In a post on X, Sowore alleged that Obi’s political decisions were designed to manage public anger rather than challenge the ruling establishment before the 2027 general election. He also accused NDC leaders of making ₦9 billion from nomination forms while operating the party informally. Sowore argued that opposition figures should present a stronger challenge to President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
