Gunmen Kill Expatriate, Two Security Agents at Kebbi Road Construction Site
An expatriate and two security agents were killed when armed men attacked the Sokoto-Badagry Superhighway construction site in Gubba Village, Maiyama Local Government Area of Kebbi State. Police said two civilians were injured and taken for medical treatment. The attackers are suspected to be Lakurawa terrorists operating from the Kebbe area of neighbouring Sokoto State. The Kebbi State Police Command said another attack along the Birnin Malam axis was repelled the same day. Joint security teams have been deployed to secure the area and prevent further attacks.
