Keyamo Criticises Atiku for Addressing Tinubu as ‘Bola’ During Petrol Price Appeal
Aviation Minister Festus Keyamo has criticised former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar for repeatedly referring to President Bola Tinubu as “Bola” during a press conference in Abuja. Keyamo said political disagreements should not remove the dignity attached to the office of the President. He described Atiku’s choice of words as disrespectful and accused him of allowing personal grievances to shape his remarks. Atiku had urged Tinubu to take steps to lower petrol and diesel prices, arguing that high energy costs are worsening transport fares, food prices and production expenses. He said the government should prioritise policies that ease living costs rather than relying mainly on palliatives.
