Notorious bandit leader Kachallah Dogo Baldu was reportedly killed during a clash between rival armed groups in the eastern axis of Mada, Zamfara State. The confrontation allegedly involved fighters loyal to Baldu and a rival faction linked to wanted kingpin Aleru. Several fighters were also said to have been killed. A security analyst reported that the gun battle was still ongoing, while the total number of casualties had not been independently confirmed.
