Wike Claims He Forced Zamfara Governor Dauda Lawal Out of PDP

FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has criticised Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal for allegedly referring to him as “that guy.” Speaking at a media parley, Wike claimed he pushed Lawal out of the Peoples Democratic Party despite the governor’s financial resources. He also alleged that Lawal later joined the All Progressives Congress after previously accusing Wike of weakening the PDP in favour of the ruling party. Wike further alleged that Lawal left the PDP with funds he was holding for another person. The governor has not responded publicly to the claims.
