Federal Government Begins Virtual Sessions for National Youth Confab
The Federal Government has begun the virtual engagement phase of the 2026 National Youth Confab, starting with participants from the North Central zone. The sessions are intended to give young Nigerians a platform to discuss governance, jobs, education, technology, inclusion and other issues affecting their future. Officials monitored the opening sessions from a coordination centre in Abuja. The Director-General of the Committee of Youth on Mobilization and Sensitization said the confab offers youths an opportunity to move beyond raising concerns and contribute practical ideas to national policymaking. The engagement is expected to continue across other zones before recommendations are produced.
