Midnight Raid in Ondo: Gunmen Abduct Pastor’s 9-Year-Old Son
Gunmen attacked Igbosi Community in Idogun, Ose LGA, Ondo State, in the early hours of Friday. They fired shots, damaged two buildings and sent residents fleeing. The attackers forced their way into Pastor Olaosebikan Isaac’s home and seized his nine-year-old son, Victor. The pastor escaped into nearby bush, leaving the child behind. Another resident, Joel Owalekan, also saw his house vandalised before he fled unharmed. The police spokesman in Ondo State said officers and Amotekun operatives received the report at about 2:30 a.m. They launched a coordinated search-and-rescue operation, combing surrounding forests and likely escape routes. Investigations have begun and exhibits recovered to aid the probe. Authorities are appealing to anyone with credible information on Victor’s whereabouts to report to the nearest police station or security agency.
