Soldiers Neutralise Four Terrorists, Recover Arms in Sambisa Forest Ambush
Troops of Operation HADIN KAI launched an early-morning ambush on April 30 in the Charlie Five area near the Sambisa Forest in Borno State. Working with local vigilante units, the 21 Special Armoured Brigade engaged a group of suspected insurgents moving from Yale towards the forest. Four terrorists were killed, and troops seized an AK-47 rifle with 12 rounds of ammunition, along with food supplies. The ambush team returned to base without casualties. Clearance operations are ongoing, and authorities report that security in the axis remains calm with high troop morale and readiness.
