Fayemi Mourns Emmanuel Uduaghan and Patrick Dele Cole
Former Ekiti State Governor Kayode Fayemi has mourned the deaths of former Delta State Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan and elder statesman Ambassador Patrick Dele Cole, describing both men as distinguished public servants whose contributions to Nigeria will endure. Fayemi said Uduaghan’s career in medicine and public service shaped his approach to governance in Delta State, particularly in healthcare, infrastructure, human capital development and the management of Niger Delta challenges. He also praised Dele Cole’s contributions to diplomacy, journalism and national discourse. Fayemi extended condolences to their families, associates, and the people of Delta and Rivers states.
