Desmond Elliot Apologises to Gbajabiamila After Lagos APC Primary Dispute

Lagos State House of Assembly member Desmond Elliot has apologised to Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, over his conduct during the APC primary election in Lagos. A video circulating online shows Elliot kneeling as he asks Gbajabiamila for forgiveness and acceptance within the Lagos APC. He said he had no excuse and hoped to conduct himself better in future. The apology followed a disagreement with party leaders over the May primary for the Surulere Constituency I seat.
