Car Influencer and Passenger Die After McLaren Crash in California
Car influencer James Wehr, 27, and his passenger, Alexis “Lexi” Kramer, 22, died after a McLaren crashed into a tree and caught fire in Irvine, California. Dashcam footage reportedly showed the car accelerating before it swerved on what appeared to be wet pavement shortly after midnight on September 13. Police said speed was believed to be a factor, while firefighters extinguished the blaze. Wehr had attended a car show earlier that day. A member of Kramer’s family said she had travelled from Florida to meet him. Authorities have not announced a final cause of the crash.
