Failed Business Deal Sparks Knife Rampage in Ogun, Two Dead and Three Injured
Detectives from the Ajuwon Division of the Ogun State Police have arrested 25-year-old Abubakar Musa following a deadly knife attack at Olmbe. On April 7, 2026, Musa reportedly stabbed five people after a business deal went awry. Two of the victims, Gbadamasi Ibrahim and Chinedu, died en route to the hospital. Three others—Mohammed Abubakar, Ashiru Adamu, and Paul Lawrence—remain in critical but stable condition. The suspect fled the scene but was later apprehended by police. DSP Babaseyi Oluseyi confirmed the arrest and stated that the case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation and prosecution.
