How to Check Your Name on INEC’s Online Voter Register
INEC has made the preliminary voter register available online for registered voters to review their details and inspect entries at their polling units. To view the register, sign in on INEC’s official viewing portal. Select your state, local government area, ward and polling unit. You can then browse names and photos, including by surname initials. Confirm that your name and details are correct. If you notice an error, follow INEC’s guidance for submitting a claim or objection. The viewing portal cannot be used for new voter registration, transfers, PVC replacement or nationwide voter searches. INEC says it is processing claims and objections from the preliminary register inspection ahead of the final register’s publication on 15 December 2026.
