VeryDarkMan Questions Influencers Over TMT Travels Visa-Service Allegations

VeryDarkMan Questions Influencers Over TMT Travels Visa-Service Allegations — 1 of 4
1 / 4

Social media activist VeryDarkMan has renewed attention on allegations involving TMT Travels and Tours. More than 200 people reportedly submitted statements, receipts and transaction records to the police over visa and travel services they say were not delivered. The claims, which include allegations involving millions of naira, remain under investigation and have not been proven in court. VeryDarkMan also questioned influencers and celebrities who previously promoted the company, including Prophet Rolex, Apama Nolly and Okwuluara Ndi Igbo. Prophet Rolex said he was a TMT ambassador between 2022 and 2024. He apologised to anyone who patronised the company because of his endorsement, while denying any knowledge of alleged fraud or involvement in visa processing and customer payments. The controversy has revived debate over whether influencers should bear responsibility when businesses they promote later face serious allegations. Nigerians seeking travel, visa or overseas-job services are advised to verify providers, request documentation and keep payment records.
