Gov Mutfwang: Identities of Angwam Killers Still Unknown

Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang said investigators are yet to identify those behind the massacre in Angwam community last Sunday. He spoke after briefing President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja. He said the state has imposed and briefly lifted a curfew to restore order. The governor confirmed that security forces have evacuated the victims and prevented looters from disrupting peace. He described the incident as criminal and barbaric. On motive, he said it’s too early to pinpoint a single cause. Authorities are gathering testimony from both survivors and witnesses to understand what happened.
