Peter Obi visited the Nigeria Labour Congress headquarters in Abuja to commiserate with NLC leaders over the death of its General Secretary, Emmanuel Ugboaja. Obi described Ugboaja’s death as a painful shock. He praised him as a principled advocate for the rights, dignity and welfare of Nigerian workers. He said Ugboaja dedicated his life to the labour movement and left a lasting legacy of service. Obi also offered prayers and condolences to Ugboaja’s family, colleagues and the wider NLC community.
