Kano Court Remands Three Men Over Alleged Murder of Social Media Commentator
A Kano Upper Sharia Court sitting in Kofar Kudu has remanded three men in a correctional centre over the alleged murder of social media commentator Ibrahim Khalil Dan Shagamu. The defendants, Aliyu Adamu, Salihu Haruna and Sani Muhammad, were arraigned on charges of conspiracy and culpable homicide. They were accused of entering Dan Shagamu’s home in Gaida Quarters, Kumbotso LGA, on September 8, 2026, and allegedly killing him. All three defendants pleaded not guilty. The court, presided over by Justice Ibrahim Sarki Yola, ordered their remand and adjourned the case until November 17, 2026, for further hearing.
