British Man Admits Drugging and Raping Wife Over 20 Years as 13 Others Face Charges

A man in his 60s from Stockport, England, has admitted drugging and raping his wife over two decades in a case police described as horrific. His identity has been withheld to protect the woman’s anonymity. He pleaded guilty to 45 further offences, taking the number of charges he has admitted to 60. They include rape, sexual assault, assault by penetration, administering a substance with intent, and sharing intimate images or videos. Greater Manchester Police said 13 other men have been charged in connection with the alleged abuse. Nine face allegations including rape and sexual assault, while one man has pleaded guilty to conspiring to rape and drug the woman. The husband has not yet been sentenced, as proceedings involving the other accused continue.
