Tinubu Says Nigeria Has Exited Its ‘Darkest Tunnel’ and Is Now Running a Stable Economy

President Bola Tinubu says Nigeria’s economy has emerged from its most difficult period and is now stable. He assured Nigerians that the benefits of his administration’s reforms will soon become more visible. Speaking on July 23 at the State House, he received a delegation from the research group Aseyori Tinubu led by Ambassador Jimoh Ibrahim, Nigeria’s Permanent Representative to the UN. Tinubu praised Ibrahim’s performance at the United Nations and urged him to aim for a permanent seat. The President also announced extra funding for the Nigerian Education Loan Fund from assets recovered by the EFCC. He highlighted that schools are open with no further ASUU strikes, and security conditions are improving.
