Lagos Police Arrest Suspected Cultist in Ikorodu, Recover Replica Pistol and Axe
Police officers on anti-crime patrol in the Idi-Iroko, Ogolonto and Agric areas of Ikorodu, Lagos, have arrested a 36-year-old man suspected of cult-related activity. The arrest followed intelligence received during the patrol. Police said a search of the suspect led to the recovery of a rubber-made pistol, an axe, suspected charms and a substance identified as “Ice”. He is in custody and is assisting investigators. Police said efforts are under way to locate other alleged members of the group.
