Weekly Dashboard Checklist for Dispensary Owners
What should dispensary owners review each week without turning their dashboard into a wall of numbers? A useful review should focus on what changed and whether it needs action. Start with sales by location, product and category performance, profit margins, discounts, returns, inventory levels, slow-moving products and unusual differences between stores. For example, a drop in margin may point to changes in product mix, discounting or costs. Rising inventory may show that certain products are not moving. When one location performs differently from others, review the underlying data before treating it as a staff or store-performance issue. The goal is not to study every metric. Check key indicators, spot unusual changes, open the supporting report, identify the affected store or product, and assign an action where necessary. What figures do you check first each week: sales, inventory or margins?
