US Advocacy Firm Claims Trump-Tinubu UNGA Meeting May Be Off Over Unverified Allegations

A US-based advocacy and consulting firm has claimed that a proposed meeting between President Bola Tinubu and US President Donald Trump during the UN General Assembly in September will not hold. The firm alleged that senior Trump administration officials ruled out a private meeting because of long-standing claims connected to a 1990s Chicago heroin trafficking case. The firm did not name the officials involved or provide supporting documents. The White House and Nigeria’s presidency have not publicly commented, and the claim has not been independently confirmed.
