Gov Sule Credits Tinubu Reforms for Nasarawa’s Increased FAAC and Infrastructure Projects

Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule says President Bola Tinubu’s subsidy removal and other reforms have increased funds available to states for infrastructure and social projects. Sule said Nasarawa’s monthly FAAC receipts have risen from roughly ₦3.8 billion–₦4.5 billion for the state to an average of ₦14 billion–₦16 billion. He said the increased allocation has enabled the state to fund projects without bank borrowing, including flyovers, road dualisation and a new specialist hospital. The governor also highlighted vocational training centres, rice production and lithium-processing facilities. He urged journalists and residents to hold state governments accountable for how they spend increased public revenue.
