Kenyan Woman Arrested After Drugs Were Found Hidden in Bread for Detained Boyfriend
Police in Nairobi, Kenya, have arrested a 26-year-old woman accused of attempting to deliver cannabis to her boyfriend in custody at Buruburu Police Station. According to Kenya’s Directorate of Criminal Investigations, officers became suspicious after she arrived with an unsealed loaf of bread and asked that it be handed to the detainee. A search allegedly uncovered five rolls of cannabis and a matchbox hidden inside the bread. Officers reportedly found another seven rolls in her jacket pocket, bringing the total recovered to 12. She is expected to be arraigned after investigations.
