EFCC Chairman Says Only About 60% of Stolen Funds Can Be Recovered
EFCC Chairman Ola Olukoyode says the commission can recover only about 60 percent of stolen funds after they have been diverted. Speaking at the inauguration of the EFCC Zonal Office in Awka, Anambra State, Olukoyode said preventing corruption and fraud remains more effective than trying to recover public funds afterwards. He urged Nigerians to report suspected corruption to the commission, adding that the EFCC’s presence in Anambra is intended to support economic growth in the state.
