Man Arrested After Alleged Attempted Theft at Ogun Church
Operatives of the Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps arrested a 31-year-old man over an alleged burglary at Glorious Christian Bible Church in Ayede, Ifo Local Government Area. The corps said the suspect allegedly removed copper pipes connected to four air-conditioning units after entering the church compound on September 27. He was arrested the following morning when he allegedly returned to steal roofing sheets. The suspect and recovered items have been handed over to the police in Ifo for investigation and possible prosecution. Residents, worship centres and businesses were urged to improve security and report suspicious activity promptly.
