Agege Council Disburses ₦140m to Support Residents and Small Businesses

Agege Local Government Chairman Abdul-Ganiyu Obasa has distributed ₦140 million in financial support to residents, small businesses, market associations, youths and women groups across the council area. Each beneficiary received ₦100,000 to help with household needs, business restocking or expansion. The programme covered beneficiaries from Agege’s seven wards. Obasa said the intervention was meant to cushion economic hardship and support local livelihoods. He added that the council would monitor beneficiaries’ business growth and continue the empowerment programme for more residents.
