Troops Repel Reported Terrorist Attack on Buni Yadi Military Camp in Yobe

Troops of the Nigerian Armed Forces reportedly repelled an attack on their camp in Buni Yadi, Yobe State, on Thursday night, October 29, 2026. The TY Buratai Humanity Care Foundation said about 200 terrorists attacked the camp at about 11pm. It said the troops responded swiftly, reportedly neutralising about 50 attackers and recovering arms, ammunition and other equipment. The foundation said no troop casualties were recorded. It praised the soldiers and commanders involved, while urging the military to sustain operations against terrorism across the country.
