LagosDecides: Prince Victor calls for cancellation and rescheduling of election, alleges violence.

Saturday 9:32pm | 2 mins. By Segun Adeleke. A member of the leading opposition People Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State, Comr. Prince Victor have called for the outright cancellation of election in the state over alleged violence amongst others and ask for rescheduling of the process arguing that it falls short of all known local and international standards and should have been called off when violence sparked off in the hours preceding it. In a statement delivered to Naijaworld, the former ward coordinator of Atiku campaign organization alleged widespread irregularities, including thumb-printing of ballot papers, harasment of party agents and violence against party members and voters. The founder and lead representative of vLink Telecom services added that an election marred with violence, irregularities and voters suppression cannot be acceptable and should be cancelled in its totality in line with the new electoral law. He added that voters decided not to be confrontational but to urge INEC to rise up to her duties and cancel the entire electoral process in the state, adding that no eligible voter should be disenfranchised as no single individual possess the sole monolopy of violence.
