Rufus a refined mind, a core philanthropist and a redeemer to be trusted at all times. He is not entirely perfect because he is a human. However, his better part supercedes his weakness. He is not the man who suddenly shuts doors at those who open for him. He will not lock the doors and also hold the keys to them. He surely will leave the keys with those who determine the entrance, that is, the electorate. We suffer in the hands of our political class, because they see themselves as our hero. Political office holders ought to be our servants being our megaphone. We make them. They do not make themselves. They only exist because we exist. Ironically, they are now our demi-gods whom we have to praise to earn meagre livelihood. This is just the problem. This is what I have recently styled "where belle face". We must understand that the palm-wine gets tougher at the dawn of everyday. We must understand that we deserve a better livelihood in terms of security, infrastructure, education, industry, employment, empowerment, healthcare, and the likes. We must act now and be liberated.
