Bishop David Oyedepo has criticised the Federal Government’s response to insecurity, saying Nigerians cannot be expected to stay silent while killings and attacks continue across the country. The Living Faith Church Worldwide leader said he was especially pained by the killing of members of his church community, whom he described as family. He questioned why he should be expected to pray for people responsible for harming innocent citizens. His remarks come amid renewed public concern over terrorism, banditry, kidnapping and other violent crimes in several parts of Nigeria. Many Nigerians have continued to demand stronger action to protect lives and property.
