Kebbi University Student Murdered in Kalgo Hostel Attack
The Federal University Birnin Kebbi has confirmed the death of 300-level Biochemistry student Zaharadeen Nuhu. He was attacked by suspected thieves at a private hostel in Kalgo Local Government Area. According to the Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Ibrahim Magawata, Zaharadeen sustained severe machete injuries during the early morning invasion. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but died hours later. The university says it has informed the Nigeria Police Force, Kalgo Division, and launched an investigation. Security patrols around off-campus hostels have been intensified to safeguard students.
